Local and lovely at Bayards Kitchen this spring

Whether it’s breakfast, brunch, lunch or a light snack, Bayards Kitchen’s new spring menu is filled with delicious choices, sourced from Devon’s glorious coast and countryside.

Step into Bayards Kitchen and it’s a meeting place filled with warmth and friendliness, carefully designed so that there’s space for you, your children and dogs, and if you prefer al fresco, step outside into the wonderful garden, with its enclosed play area and seating under the trees or on the patio.

There’s a strong nod to those who prefer to eat meat free – whether that’s vegan or vegetarian, everything is available to take away, and there’s a gluten free menu too.

Start the day with a Bayards Well Being Vegan Breakfast or Bayards vegan take on the great British fry up.

Perhaps you’d prefer a traditional farmhouse breakfast, eggs Benedict, porridge, or a bap filled with bacon or sausages.

Whether you’re feeling healthy or hungry, or you’ve popped into The Cider Press Centre for a quick bite, during your daily stroll around the Dartington estate, the main menu ticks every box. From Bayards Roasted Root Veg and Chickpea Salad to an Elston Farm (right in the middle of DEvon near Crediton) 6oz beef burger with bacon, cheddar, fried pickles and fries, the flavours oozes from every mouthful.

Accompany your meal with a Heron Valley juice, bottled in the glorious Avon valley, Voyager Coffee, roasted at Buckfastleigh, or Tarka Spring Water, sourced in the heart of Devon, or try something a little stronger, like a Devon Maid cider.

There’s also a choice of snacks and cakes, whether it’s a Bayards cream team, a plain scone or a slice of gluten free cake.

Breakfast is served from 9am until 11.30am; main course from noon until 4pm and snacks, cream teas and cakes all day.
