Bayards Kitchen at the Shops at Dartington is supporting The World’s Biggest Coffee Morning – Macmillan’s biggest fundraising event for people facing cancer.

Pop in on Friday, September 29 for a free cup of filter coffee and cup cake between 8.30am and 10.30am in return for a donation to Macmillan.

The first ever Coffee Morning happened way back in 1990. It was a rather small affair with a simple idea: guests would gather over coffee and donate the cost of their cuppa to Macmillan in the process. Since then, Coffee Morning has raised over £165.5 million for Macmillan. Last year £29.5 million was raised and this year Macmillan is aiming to raise even more.
